The Polish Cultural Foundation "Libertas" Rapperswil was founded in 1978; its main function is to support the activity of the Polish Museum in Rapperswil. The Foundation is liberated from paying taxes from donations and bequests. During the last 30 years of its activity the Foundation gathered quite a large capital. But, despite the fact that the earnings from the existing capital enable the Museum to cover the cost of its maintenance, it is too small to suffice. There is a constant need for new sources of financial support.
