Visit of the President of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski with Poles at the Polish Museum in Rapperswil

   On the last day of his stay in Switzerland (the WEF) President Bronisław Komorowski met the Swiss Polish community. Meeting at the Polish Museum in Rapperswil has been arranged by the Polish Embassy in Bern. During the visit President decorated Mr. Jan Zbigniew Bem with the Order of Polonia Restituta and visited the Museum and its library.

   In the summer of 2011 dr Stefan Schneider has spent a sailing vacation with a 15 Jollenkreuzer on the Masurian Lakes. The spectacularly way back (1.000 km to Berlin) was held on the waterways: over the rivers of Pisa, Narew, Vistula, the channel Bydgoszcz, Noteć and Warta to the Oder.
